Khadgar is a 6 foot tall silver-haired human who appears to be in his early sixties. He has a perpetual five o'clock shadow and close up age spots and faint scars can be seen on his face. One stretches in a line from over his left eye to below his right, while the second is a small x-shaped scar on his left cheek. His build is wiry and muscular and he's actually very spry for his apparent age (though game models have him built a little thicker). He is usually dressed in dark blue and silver travel/combat robes and his staff, Atiesh, is always on or near his person. Khadgar is voiced by Tony Amendola and sounds like this.

As a mage, Khadgar can sense magic as long as it's not being hidden by one more powerful than he.

For those who are magically inclined: Khadgar is one of the most powerful mages currently in existence on his planet. His staff is an ancient arcane relic and even more powerful. Khadgar himself was cursed long ago (via fel magic) and forced to magically age to his current appearance: he's actually about twenty years younger than he seems.

For those who can sense if people are human or not: Khadgar is a normal Azerothean human. Humans on Azeroth actually evolved (or devolved depending on who you ask) from metallic Titan constructs via the Curse of Flesh (void/shadow magic). Your character may interpret that ancestry as appropriate to them.

Canon Recognition/Punching: Khadgar is a famous archmage who has written several books and been fairly active on Azeroth particularly in recent years. Given the nature of Milliways, especially its extensive library, he wouldn't be at all surprised to be recognized or heard of. He's also one of the mages you can play as in Hearthstone, which exists in Azeroth, so in a way he knows he's a game character just not a video game character. Be prepared to answer a lot of questions like 'what's video?' if your character tries to explain further.
